On 10-2-28 we will hike the Stenner Creek trail in San Luis Obispo.  We might see the train on this hike as we pass very close to the hairpin turn.  When we reach the tracks, we will walk along and cross them to visit a forest of eucalyptus trees.  The picture at the bottom below is a sample of what you will see.  The tracks are visable just behind the little bluff in the foreground.  More detail driving and parking instructions will be added to this website by 10-22-26.  The short instructions are that Stenner Creek Road to the trailhead is a right turn off Hwy 1 a distance of 1.8 miles north of Foothill.  Easy peasy.
