On Friday, March 20, 2026 we hiked the 3.2 mile Harmony Headlands Trail from Hwy 1 to the coast.  The parking lot was full to overflowing as it looked like we were not the only group to pick this coastal route to avoid the 90°+ temperatures of the week.  Thirteen of us made the hike.  As we headed toward the coast and walked along the coastal bluff, temperatures were in the mid seventies.  It did get into the 80's as he headed back up the hill to the parking lot, but we actually made better time than the first half of the hike. The track for our hike plus a previous one are posted below for comparison. The time recorded (2:13) was essentially the same as was the total of UP waypionts (463 ft) and distance (3.2 mi).
