Friday, April 17th was a great day for a hike along the Cambria Bluff trail hrough the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve.  The weather was beautiful.  We hiked 5.0 miles in two hours and 45 minutes.  The total of UP waypoints was 1148 feet with an elevation change of 314 feet.   There were were quite a few other hikers on the trail most of whom appeared to be residents living in the beach-side homes at both ends of Fiscalini Ranch.  We modified the original path slightly to take advantage of a new boardwalk connecting the upper and lower sides of the trail.  Using them allowed us to avoiding entering the neighborhood at the southern end of the ranch.  Plaques on the walk commemorated the sponsors of the new construction.
