After a rainy week, Friday, March 7, 2025 turned out to be a perfect day to hike.  Although the morning was "brisk," the sky was clear, and the Old Stagecoach Trail was in great shape with no mud and only a few isolated puddles.  We covered 5.7 miles in 3:07 with an elevation change of 892 feet.  The total of all the UP waypoints was 1286 feet.  Brad led shorter version which covered 3.2 miles in 1:36 with an elevation change of 345 feet.  Both the track Russ and Brad recorded are shown below. Today's track for Russ is in brown. The route in purple to the East of Cuesta Grade is one we will do in a few weeks.  Brad's track is a politically correct rainbow keyed to a measure speed below it.  If you lost a voodoo doll, we may have found it nailed to a tree on the trail (see picture below).  Pictures by Russ.
