On Friday, March 21, 2025 fifteen RAMs hiked the open portion of the Johnson Ranch Trail.  Rains had closed the Western (fuchsia-colored) side of the lower loop shown in the map below.  We hiked the turquoise part which came to 2.5 miles and 240 foot elevation change, which is very close to the plan we finally selected as the fate of the hike teetered throughout the week.  We had a mix of new and returning hikers today so the data will vary depending on when you finished.  Photos by Russ who is doubling efforts to contact our "staff" photographer Barbara.  It was a beautiful day and will be remembered by one and all as the coming of Spring.
