Bubbling Streams (X) Cascading Waterfalls (X) Bench with View (X) Tree Swing for Barbara (X)
An exceptionally well-maintained and beautiful trail with easy access and nobody on it other than us and a lady pushing a baby buggy and trailing a dog. That was the Stenner Creek Trail on 2-6-26. We hiked 4.1 miles in 3:09 to a maximum elevation of 1196 feet. Our elevation change was 596 feet with an UP waypoint total of 868 feet. All fifteen of us maintained visual sight of each other from start to finish. We crossed the railroad track at two points and Brad explained to Russ the science of rail joints as observed by Bill Woodson. There are quite a few pictures this time so don't forget that the uploaded files are quite large and you can zoom in on them for more detail.
